Telephone 01978 366115 Mission Statement Family Friends offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with children, in our local community. Family Friends offers a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers who are usually parents themselves- to visit families at home who have at least one child aged between 5 and 11 years old to offer informal, friendly and confidential support. Through a network of trained and enhanced CRB checked volunteers who are parents or have relevant experience we support hundreds of parents and children who are experiencing difficulties of one kind or another. Our families need support for many reasons including social isolation, post-natal depression, disability, bereavement or the illness of a parent or child.
