Latest news, events and planned meetings

Through a network of trained and CRB checked volunteers who are parents or have relevant experience we support hundreds of parents and children who are experiencing difficulties of one kind or another. Our families need support for many reasons including social isolation, post-natal depression, disability, bereavement or the illness of a parent or child. Every Child and Family matter and the only criteria is that you have at least 1 child aged between 5-11 years old.

When is the next preparation course?

We currently run one prep course every year. The next course is due to start at the end of January 2012 and will run from 10-3pm or 6.00-9.00pm and take place in the Family Friends office at The Salvation Army Premises.

The course is for 10 weeks and is completely free

Planned Meetings

Our next AGM meeting is to be held at The Salvation Army Premises, Garden Road, Rhosddu in June/July 2012 Date to be confirmed.

   £25  Trains a Volunteer

   £40   provides a family

           with a day out

   £120 Supports a family

           for a month
